Artefact Craft

Wake me when it's all over.

If you have been in Elvenar long enough then getting all those Artefacts is actually quite easy. You need to check back every 6 hours in the MA to see if your Bear or Phoenix Artefact has appeared and keep an eye on the Spire rotation every 6 weeks. Once the Spire has one you need then getting to the Top each week (hugely expensive I know but you have to maximise your chances) is essential.

To achieve the required Blueprints or Diamonds to purchase/craft these artefacts you need to be in an active Fellowship that gets 10 chests every week, and unlocks the top of the Spire at least (I would say) once a month. Win Genies (Spire), Goddess of Wishes or Die of Fortune (Events) and put these down in your city to get free Diamonds every so often. They soon mount up.

Lastly I agree with @Pauly7, those Black Friday type deals are really only a last resort as Diamonds are so important for many aspects of the game.

I do Spire and it is not expensive. But four last Spires there are no arts!
I cant check Academy regularly, because sometimes i sleep. But when i pick resources i do look into it.

I'm relieved to hear that someone else has expensive, costly Spire journeys. I was beginning to think that the game just hated me.

Great posting @Valedoress !
My Negotiating city has been finding it hard for a while, not helped by it's shortage of Orcs which Chapter 16 seems to be gobbling up.

My Fighting city has just started to encounter the harder 'battle system'. Got quite a shock when fights I would usually win went pear shaped even after 2 or 3 attempts with different Troops. Looks like Twilight is going to get fed weekly and I may have to start bashing it in one visit. With those Dwarven Armorers getting scarcer I am going to have to craft more Troop boosters in the MA as well.

I feel your pain @Valedoress. At the same time I am relieved to know it is not just me, or some bad upgrade decisions I might have made.

Instead of rewarding advanced players for their dedication and contributions to the game, the PTB seem hell-bent on punishing and discouraging us from continuing.

Keep it up @Valedoress. I'm feeding my Fire Phoenix more often (weekly) to attempt a reduction in the troop losses. The infrequent MA troop boosters from the MA help too, as you say.

Not sure if this is the best place to post it, but I think it’s great that such a wide range of different artefacts are coming up as crafting options in the MA. I’ve crafted the final artefact needed to complete two of my evolving buildings. Just need a few more of the original Phoenix ones to evolve my Fire Phoenix

The next Event (starting in about 24 hours) has an Azure Phoenix as the main building. If you don't like it's look or Stats then there is a reverse crafting option in the MA. 2 x Azure Artefacts and 1000 Spell Frags will get you a Tome of the Phoenixes. You can pick any of the current Phoenix Artefacts from the Tome.

I’m disappointed that we can only reverse craft using azure phoenix artefacts. I have numerous superfluous artefacts from various older phoenixes and I’d love to be able to craft a Tome of the Phoenixes from them.

I would like to be able to craft from my unwanted AW artifacts too. This is occasionally possible in the MA but it's rare, and never what I need!

Is that what's really behind the RNG?
I wouldn't quite go that far @SunriseBuilder. The mileage can vary a lot sometimes. For example, your RNG experience could be better than mine. There may be other 'factors' that influence how RNG will bless or curse any particular player. o_O

Of course this is all pure speculation and rhetoric on my part. ;)
