All Howl's Eve Event not has main building?

Glido is a good mana producer, just below the Mana Hut in amount per tile per hour. And those of my fellows who are just starting Ch 22 are eagerly feeding it for their run up the Spire.

Hey I go with my gut. I said Tinlug was a 'must have' a year or so, and got the same reaction. How many of y'all now have this and feed it too?
Tinlug's a greedy little beastie, but it turns out you were right @Lelanya. :)

But what am I missing with this 'get to the top of the Spire' thing. How does Glido help a Chapter 22 player reach the top? From what I'm reading it only gives some extra prizes. Which is all fine and dandy, but not so much if it costs an arm and a leg to reach the top in the first place.

Doesn't sound like a lot of mana. If your fellows were relying on Mana Hut to finish Ch.21 it must have taken ages. :)

if you trades just a bit to reach higher in spire it can happen that you get back more goods back than you putted in, because no matter the way the result still goods from the chest. It not necesarily helps you reach the top but it makes you wanna do more fight to get more goods out of it. Glido good because gives more resource for you if you fighting the spire. If you trades but wanna trade its still refreshing that something still gived back so your losses not that big. Glido indeed gives lot mana but next event building will give even more...

Why does it say basic goods per spire chest, but shows the icon of an ascended good? If it pays basic goods then the feeding effect will be completely useless to me. If it pays ascended goods then that is a little more intriguing, but im still not convinced I'd ever use it. I have tons of ascended goods now, but the problem is not being able to trade them for the right ones. If the icon here is the correct goods type then that's my first tier ascended boost, so it doesn't solve that.

Mana Hut is (per tile per hour) almost at the top of the list in ElvenArchitect - the only free (non-premium) buildings above it are from early in the game and have not been offered since I started playing. I was using it as a reference point. For me, Glido is worth a 3x3 spot in Ch 21.

I wasn't commenting on how my fellows finished Ch 21 - it's the need for ascended goods at the start of Ch 22 that has them excited about Glido.

i bet its the image icon what counts, we usually get into the our chapter needs in the next or current chapter things mostly. you should try it, that pet food on the animal, it so rewarding to see getting so much goods... (i think my smaller city will has level 9 too with glido)

If it's 17.4k ascended goods per every single chest, then that is a really great amount of goods, but... the first tier of ascended really doesn't do it for me. I'm not asked for that much now. If it is a similar set up for everyone this is going to lead to an absolutely humongous amount of cross tier merchant trading, which no one enjoys. And it would still take a painfully long time to shift it across into more useful goods.

Even if I've reconciled all that with myself, there would still only be a few key moments where I'd need that injection of goods. All things being equal, no I don't think this will ever be fed.

Probably gives Basic Ascended for you Pauly; after all, it doesn't say Basic Standard Goods.
I thought it was: Basic goods, refined goods, magical(?) goods, sentient goods, ascended goods. I must brush up on my semantics.

How much ascended goods does the critter produce? Is it as much as one manufactory? I'm not feeling the excitement yet. :)

I am feeling the devastation with the ascended goods though.

I won't be feeding it 'cos I won't be building it.

None. It's the feeding effect that gets you the good stuff :)

This is level 9. I need two more keys for the 9th artefact. Then the ascended goes up to 17400 per spire chest. ( I did ask elsewhere if mystery chests are included but no answer yet)

This poor thread has become a Glido thread instead of it's original topic.
Be that as it may (and because I miss SirDerf's semi-pointless maths) .....

level33 planks producing sprouts, 1x 9 hour + 3x 3hour = 38960 sprouts per day.
level10 Glido, completed spire = 208800 sprouts.
More than 5 days worth of production for the cost of a pet food (or two if you don't use any timers)

Welcome to my city, Glido. Don't annoy the scarecrow ;)
