Oh! I got it this time. You need a total of 6. Three are 'used up'. You placed 1 new one - 1 out of your 4, is fresh and counts towards the new 3 that you will need for upgrading the portal.

Well I don't know about the 3 of 4, but you will need 6 sets total to upgrade the Portal to 4.

I had a merger completely fall apart due to this sort of thing. Did you know that there are also players who only enjoy the Adventure when someone tells what to build and when to switch?
