The last quest for me ( because of expiring of the Poenix eggs event) is "Upgrade level 12 or higher buildings 3 times or Research 1 technology".
I upgraded 3 of my steel manufactories to level 12 using all my boosters to finish the remaining 3 feathers so I can collect the Grand Price.
The quest chalenge did not changed (did not count my upgrades)
What is wrong and how am I going to get my lost Grand Price

Yes, the wording of some of the quests was confusing to say the least.

Can you research one technology, even use gold to get kp if you have the goods to finish it.
